Therapy for anxious and overwhelmed moms in Oregon. I help moms who feel emotionally exhausted, overstimulated, and stuck in survival mode find steadiness, clarity, and relief.

Your children are the most important people in your life. You would do anything for them. You drive them to all their activities, keep track of appointments, homework, and playdates, and constantly make sure they’re happy and thriving. You may feel constantly overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, and like you’re carrying the mental load of everything while still trying to show up for everyone else.

And you love being a mom.

But sometimes, you wonder: When did I become just “so-and-so’s mom?” Somewhere along the way, you may have lost touch with yourself. You might feel frustrated, guilty, or anxious about getting everything “right.” Sometimes the past resurfaces in parenting, and sometimes the pressure of motherhood itself triggers stress or anxiety.

Feeling overwhelmed doesn’t mean you’re failing

Being a mom is a wonderful, messy, joyful, and exhausting all at once. It’s normal to feel stretched, irritated, or unsure of who you are outside of motherhood. But you don’t have to lose yourself along the way.

How therapy can help

In therapy, you can:

  • Reconnect with your identity beyond motherhood

  • Manage anxiety, stress, and mom guilt

  • Heal old patterns or past trauma that resurface in parenting

  • Learn self-compassion and tools to care for yourself while caring for your family

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and a compassionate, strengths-based approach to help moms feel grounded, confident, and more present, both for themselves and their children. Sessions are collaborative, grounded, and focused on helping you feel more steady, understood, and less alone in what you’re carrying.

You deserve support — for you and for your family

Therapy can help you be the mother you want to be without losing yourself. You don’t have to carry it alone. If you’re a mom feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted, and you’re ready for support, I’d be glad to connect. You can reach out to schedule a consultation or ask any questions about working together. I currently have limited openings for new clients.

My Approach

I use a systems framework and incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Self compassion and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my work. I can help you build self-esteem and confidence, explore your identity and meet personal goals, increase self care, and strengthen your relationships.
